Det er vel ikke et godt tegn at vi ikke har hørt noe om Remy idag? Hvis han skulle hatt en omfattende medisinsk sjekk burde vel klubbene og Remy være enige om henholdsvis sum og kontrakt? Da synes jeg det er litt rart at vi ikke hører noe mer om hvor han befinner seg? Når vi kjøpte Debuchy var stod det vel på nufc.co.uk at han var på medisinsk test, eller?
Update: It's uncertain whether reports on Monday of a further attempt by QPR to tempt Remy are anything more than a face-saving exercise for 'Arry Redknapp.
More positively though, French football news sites were talking of a successful Newcastle medical for Remy and agreement on a four and a half year contract.
Recent SJP arrival Mathieu Debuchy meanwhile has told French radio station RMC Sport that Remy rang Yohan Cabaye on Sunday evening for his views on Newcastle.
It's also reported by French journalists that Debuchy said on the same station that:
"It's a very good news to see Loïc Rémy at Newcastle. I hope to see him tomorrow at training camp. Loic has had some problems recently, but we know him: he's a great player and goalscorer.
"I hope it'll do him good to come here, and he'll score goals and get himself back in the French national side. Rémy is a very good striker, it's great for the team and Newcastle."
