Hehe, herlig at du igjen trekker inn mål..
Er det like herlig at Terry Mc trekker inn mål? Han har vel like lite peil på fotball som de fleste andre.
Terry McDermott has hailed Newcastle United's acquisition of Scott Parker as "one of the best signings this club has made for a number of years."
Parker was flanked by two of the greatest midfielders in modern times in Graeme Souness and Terry Mac - assistant to the manager - as United unveiled their £6.5m signing at St James' Park yesterday afternoon.
McDermott was at Kevin Keegan's shoulder when they made some of the best signings in United's history and he told me today: "I can honestly say I am as excited about our acquisition of Scott Parker as I was when we were bringing Alan Shearer, Les Ferdinand and Andy Cole to the club.
"This is every bit as exciting as bringing them in. That is how highly I rate Parker.
"The biggest compliment I can pay Scott is that I feel he is as good as Liverpool's Steven Gerrard, Arsenal's Patrick Vieira and Chelsea's Frank Lampard.
"He is a quality player and I am ecstatic we have got him because he is exactly what we needed both on and off the field."
Terry Mac was one of the greatest goalscoring midfielders in the game in his spells with Liverpool and United and colleagues at Stamford Bridge tell me the only flaw in Parker's make-up is the fact he does not score enough goals.
Adds the former England international: "It would be nice if Scott could score a few for us.
"Last season that is where some of our problems lay in as much as our midfield did not contribute enough goals.
"However, Scott is capable of scoring goals.
"I can remember a game at the St Mary's Stadium two years ago when he scored both Charlton's goals against Southampton and I have to say they were two tremendous efforts.
"We want our midfield players to get into double figures.
"Two or three of them should be looking to get into double figures and there is no reason why they cannot."
Parker could hardly have created a better impression than he did in his unveiling in a black and white shirt.
Both he and Souness had interrupted family holidays abroad to face the media as United announced their first signing of the season.
Afterwards, both headed off to re-join their families - Parker to Portugal and Souness to Spain.
The manager, however, will be back at his desk at the weekend and there are no prizes for guessing whether he intends to bring more players to St James' Park in the coming weeks
