Hvorfor iallverden kan ikke gutta på laget og Souness ta opp ting internt?
There's actually a link to it on the website. http://www.equipe.fr/Football/index.html (On the right in the "Chrono" section). Football - UEFA Cup : Robert wants to end the controversy. The Newcastle midfielder has apologised for an article published this Thursday, the story was "taken out of context", with what he wanted to say, just hours before the Second Leg of the UEFA Cup, on Thursday in Lisbon. "We haven't played well in the last three matches. We were very, very bad", Laurent Robert notably stated. In a classical manner, his words were taken in by the British tabloid press, which had angered his manager, Graeme Souness. Reacting to the articles written in the press, the latter slammed the "selfish attitude", of Laurent Robert, just before "the clubs two most important matches for 35 years". Robert: "An objective opinion". "Are we better than we were last year? No, I don't think so", declared the ex-PSG player. "Are we the same? No. Probably worse. But I want to forget about it before such an important game as the one we have on Thursday" he added. "My points were...exaggerated for a reason which escapes me. I simply made an objective opinion on the average performances of the team, just like my own which I don't feel are good enough for a big club such as Newcastle." He stated in his press release. My own future is in the interests of this club. My quotes were taken out of context...the comments have hurt the directors and the Newcastle fans, and I am sorry".
